Summer Roses
Top: Summer Rose.
Bottom: Summer Flower.
I was only going to upload one of these pictures, but I couldn't decide which one to upload, so I uploaded them both instead!
Again, they were created in Photoshop. For the first one, I applied a rose paintbrush to a white background and for the second one, I applied the same paintbrush to a coloured background before adjusting the tone and colour to achieve the highlights and shadows that I wanted.
To be honest, I'm quite pleased with the end result. They turned out better than I expected!

A Pocketful of Spring
I was just messing around with patterns and colours - and came up with this one by sheer accident!
I was quite pleased with the results, though. :-)

Days of Snow
I must confess that I'm hardly a great artist - but I just love messing around with different media!
I created this one with good old-fashioned coloured pencils and paper (and more than a little help from my nieces and nephews, since they helped me to colour it in).
Although I originally created it a few months ago, I thought it would be appropriate for now, considering the Arctic weather that we're having at the moment.
As for the little ones...
well, they're just enjoying the snowball fights. ;-)
Crystal Moon
Again, I created this one in Photoshop, with a little help from some lighting effects and an old paintbrush.

Abstraction
This is another collage that I created in Photoshop (with a little help from a paintbrush and some filters...).

Eternal Spring

Here's another one that I created using a flowery paintbrush...
Beauty's Dream

Again, I created this one in Photoshop, using a rose paintbrush plus...
...yes, you've guessed it, another picture of the sky.
I took the photo a couple of weeks ago and thought it would make an effective backdrop, so I began experimenting with it. I only added the roses just to see what they'd look like against a cloudy backdrop - and I was quite pleased with the result!

Blue Fantasy
Top: Crystal Dreams.
Bottom: Blue Fantasy.
These are just a couple of pictures that I've been working on over the past couple of days.
Again, I used Photoshop (and yes, I used the fan brushes again!).
Crystal Dreams was an experiment with both fan brushes and shapes. I was quite pleased with the end result, so I decided to use it for my next project (Blue Fantasy).
Blue Fantasy is, in fact, a collage. It's mostly made up of old patterns and pictures that I created last year. I must admit that I had a lot of fun putting the whole lot together last night, he he!

Death's Dream
I must have been thinking scary thoughts when I created this one, he he!
Seriously though, this was another experiment with the fan brushes in Photoshop.
Unlike my other stuff, though, I'd actually planned what I wanted to do with this one - and I'm pleased to say that the picture turned out exactly the way that I'd planned it!
Don't you just love it when plans work? :-)

The Edge of Reality
I'm showing my love of all things sci-fi again, he he!
Seriously though, I'm a big fan of Doctor Who and the inspiration for this one came from an episode from a few years ago...
Again, I created it using Photoshop (plus some old backgrounds that I'd been experimeting with).

Lines, Colours and Patterns.
Top: Abstract Flower.
Bottom: Galaxy Warriors.
I experimented with lines, patterns (not to mention those wonderful fans that you get with Photoshop) and colours last night - and was quite surprised with the end result!
Abstract Flower was my first project of the night. I created it in monochrome, then decided to add colour to it later. I thought it looked OK, so I decided to have another go - and came up with Galaxy Warriors!
Galaxy Warriors may have just been another experiment in Photoshop, but it comes from my love of both the science-fiction and fantasy genres. I've loved both sci-fi and fantasy ever since I was a kid
and I try to incorporate it into as many of my pictures as I can.

This is my version of the famous "Entertainment" logo, he he!

Spring Warmth, Summer Yellow
Here's 2 that I made earlier, he he!
Well, actually, the first one is a photo taken on a hot day in June a couple of years ago. We had an abundance of buttercups back then - and when I say abundance, I mean it! They were all over the park, in our gardens...
Basically, they were everywhere! A sea of yellow flowers. It was a beautiful sight!
The second picture was one that I created just a few days ago, after I'd created yet another flower brush in Photoshop. I must have tried around a dozen different colours before I settled on the soft pastel shade above.
