Flower of Light

I just couldn't resist this one when I saw it, he he!

I love nature any way it comes - everything from the smallest grasses to the largest animals you can think of! Everything from the small and beautiful to the downright big and scary - and this little periwinkle is no exception...

Contemplation

One of the advantages of Photoshop is that you can experiment with the brushes, changing the size and texture, basically just to see what happens. With just a few clicks of your mouse button (or stylus if you're using a graphics tablet), you can change a brush from hard to soft, add textures...
Basically, you can do what you want. Just let your imagination take over and see what you can come up with.

Bits & Bobs

This is an old pic of mine from a few years back (2006).
Although I've been using Photoshop since around 2000, this was my first serious attempt at actually creating something with it...

Autumn Leaves

Saturday is the day that my sister and her kids usually come to visit -
and today was no exception! We took the kids to the park - and ended up jumping on leaves, rolling around in them and even throwing them at each other! It was great!
But, then again, I'm just a big kid at heart. ;-)
Anyway, I managed to take this picture before the little ones flattened them - but only just! ;-)

Just a few of my favourite things...

I'm in dreamy chocolate heaven!

Nebula Worlds

There's nothing that I like better than messing around with Photoshop whenever I have the time. I like to experiment with different layers, shapes and backgrounds just to see what happens...

Wings of a Rose

Our front garden might be small, but we still managed to find space for a bush or three -
one of which is a small rose bush with beautiful pink and yellow roses.
Only one of these pictures is an actual photograph, though - but can you
guess which one it is?

Dimensions In Art

I'm not sure why (or even how) I came up with that title! I guess it was just one of those random things that pops into my head from time to time. It's like when I write poetry. Sometimes, I can go for weeks, or even months without inspiration. Then, all of a sudden, words just pop into my head - and that's it! Before I know it, I have a brand new poem in front of me!

I'm like that with art too. If a picture flashes into my mind, I take out my pencils and start scribbling away - and I always make sure that I take my camera with me whenever I go out. After all, we never know what we might see!

As for Photoshop, I just love to experiment with it and see what I can come up with!
